This is not a blog but an online book, completed on April 30, 2007 and moved from WordPress.com to its present location on March 13, 2009. Most of the contents originally appeared on my blog Via Negativa. I value feedback of all kinds, including constructive criticism. Email me at bontasaurus [at] yahoo [dot] com, or use the comment threads to respond to individual poems.
All content is original and available for use under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 United States License. For web use, attribution must include a link back to this site. For other use, attribution may be limited to author’s name (Dave Bonta) and title (Shadow Cabinet) – printed-out URLs are superfluous in the age of Google.
I co-edit an online literary magazine, qarrtsiluni. I live in the upper Susquehanna River watershed, on a mountain on the eastern edge of western Pennsylvania.
Other poetry-related sites I author or contribute to:
- Open Micro (a group blog showcasing poetry in 140 or fewer characters)
- Spoil (selected older poems)
- Via Negativa (my main blog)
- The Morning Porch (a daily microblog)
- Moving Poems (an on-going compendium of the the best video poetry from YouTube and beyond)
Note that clicking on the header image currently produces a Lightbox-generated image of a purported cover for a paper edition which does not in fact exist. This is solely a proof-of-concept exercise with possible application for other online books I may publish, e.g. at qarrtsiluni.
